Positively Pink

A Campaign Raising Awareness and Support for Breast Cancer

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 1, 2004) – W hat do thousands of pink boxes plus thousands of women at the Southern Women's Show plus thousands of dollars raised for breast cancer research plus thousands of literature pieces handed out plus thousands of “Pink” meals eaten equal ? THOUSANDS of people touched and made more aware of breast cancer through the efforts of The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation and the Positively Pink campaign.

Valentine's weekend opened the campaign to raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research. Many people from Middle Tennessee have made this campaign successful by dining from the Positively Pink menu. Participating restaurants, Mere Bulles, Merchant's and Princeton's Grille have agreed to offer a special menu in which a portion of the proceeds benefit The Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation. A dining experience will include dinner from the Positively Pink specialty dinner menu and a box full of goodies from sponsors, patrons and friends of the campaign that will simply thank restaurant guests for participating in Positively Pink .

Positively Pink will introduce its new specialty gift line including jewelry, stationery, healthy chocolates, candles and more at Parisians of Cool Springs Galleria Beauty Week, June 24–29.
