Positively Pink  Is Positively A Success

Nashville, TN- Valentine's Day means different things to everyone. For the Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation, it  meant a time for celebration and a time of hope. Within only a few days it became known that the campaign to benefit the foundation, known as Positively Pink, was so successful that the participating restaurants ran out of the 1,000 gift boxes during the first week.

Positively Pink, a campaign created by AccessTalent to promote awareness, education, and fundraising for breast cancer research, is proud to have recording superstar Amy Grant as its spokesperson. Participating Nashville restaurants including Mere Bulles, Merchants, & Princeton's Grille offer a special “pink” menu where 15% of the purchase of a meal goes to the Minnie Pearl Cancer Foundation. Patrons also receive a box filled with gifts from sponsors of the event, as well as educational materials about the foundation.

Shauna Mosley, President of AccessTalent, the Nashville-based company behind Positively Pink, had this to say about the event, "This has to be the most successful Valentine's weekend ever. We knew we had a wonderful charity and the support of great sponsors, but the response from the public has been overwhelming. We may have run out of boxes, but we'll never run out of hope for a cure."

When the restaurants used their supply of Positively Pink gift boxes special vouchers were given to patrons so they could redeem their boxes at a later time.  The boxes became available again starting March 2.  Patrons can stop by Mere Bulles, Merchants or Princeton's Grill and enjoy a great dinner from the “pink” menu and help cancer research.
